About the Campaign

The Campaign for Community Change is the action center of the Center for Community Change.  Our mission is to build the power and capacity of low-income people, especially people of color, to change the policies and institutions that affect their lives.  It's time for a progressive movement that unites all of our issues and represents the authentic voices of people most affected by social and economic injustice.  The Campaign for Community Change is a vehicle to help build this movement.

Along with our grassroots partners, we have secured major legislative victories in 2009.  But there is much work to be done in 2010.
